What goes around, comes around
There’s a Jungian concept known as circumambulation.
This is the process of moving in ever smaller circles towards the centre of what matters most in life: the knowing of who you are. At the centre, whether we reach it or approximate it, lies the Self. As we circle, we visit and revisit; shed skin after skin; cry at the shedding, celebrate in the renewal, and live our lives between these two states.
Each time around, if we’re looking, we see familiar things differently. We know and understand ourselves to be different too.
After stepping away from Integrated Tarot - and from tarot itself - for some time, today - right now - it felt right to step towards it again. I’ve no idea what’s going to happen. Maybe something, maybe nothing. But things have changed appreciably in my life and in the world, and I thought to myself, “Why? Well. Why not?”
In keeping with this ethos of circumambulation, some things remain the same, and some things will change.
I am offering tarot readings. That’s the same. I’ll be reading in the same area of the UK - a mile or two away from where I was before - though the readings will be written and not spoken; my home is new; my desk is different. I feel different, and my reading style may well feel different too. Time will tell.
I won’t be writing much, save for these newsletters. No podcast; no blog. The world is getting complicated; and in response I want things to be simpler.
To this end, I have three reading types you can choose from. One is relatively inexpensive; one is middling; one is pricy. The third one may not necessarily suit you better than the first or second. If you’re drawn to buy something, choose what feels like the best fit for you.
